No,
voting shouldn't be made easier here Hilary Spence asked the question,"Should voting be made easier in the state of Maryland." I find myself on the opposite side of her and the Democratic state legislature. We don't need to make voting easier. If anything, quite the contrary. It offends (me) at the MVA when I'm asked if I'm registered to vote. We don't need the MVA registering people to vote who don't have the ability to follow the issues, or brain capacity enough to sort out the truth from the spin. They're probably registering murderers, rapists and no doubt, illegal immigrants. Now the legislature is going to maike it even easier to vote by mailing in your vote! I'm sure we will get an accurate count from this fiasco! Anyone who cares enough about voting will make his or her way to the polls. Those who don't make it are doing so by choice. That choice, for those who don't, is usually because they're too lazy or too self-centered to make the time. People like Ms. Spence think we should get them by the hand and help them make their X, then see if there is anything else we can help them (with). Ms. Spence, do I need to remind you of the Glendening vs. Sauerbrey election back in 1994? While the recount was going on it was found that some of Mr. Glendening's voting constituents were dead! How much easier does it need to be? Rick
